• Permanent Magnets [FREE] - There is always a magnetic field around these materials

• Electromagnets - Here a current in a wire causes a magnetic field around it

•  The Motor Effect  - When there is a current in a wire inside a magnetic field it causes movement​

•  Generators  - When you move a conductor in a magnetic field we induce a potential difference

​

•  Transformers  - Using a.c. these can change the potential difference and current (note: you only need to know the equation Ns/Np = Vs/Vp
